I like the original Veyron. I like the engineering premise and design efforts that went into it. Plus the first episode of Top Gear I ever saw was the one where Clarkson was racing May and Hammond across Europe in the Veyron.

The Vitesse and Super Sport were a bit ridiculous to me though.

My issues with the Veyron is that they took a seemingly-overcomplicated overexpensive method to get to the same result others did with less weight and power, and lower operating costs.

That, and seemingly every single model was a “special edition”, and when all of them are “special”, none of them are.

But it is cool being in the presence of machinery valued at over $5 million dollars, plus the other exotica at BGC.

I don’t believe that this voids the warranty. I believe this gets spread around over and over, but has never been cited from a decent source.
